I received the train as a gift, upon getting it out, the instructions were one sided from steps 1-8. Can I get the instructions online?

For the person that lamented that the instructions are in Chinese, my solution to that issue was to take the instructions over to my neighbour who is Chinese. He was super glad to write all the Chinese in English on the instruction sheet next to the Chinese instructon. Too nice. It was a big help He was proud to do it as I have helped him with English many time before he became confident to writre resumes for jobs he was seeking.

I also have this kit, only Chinese instructions. Can an English version be found online. The kit itself looks good taking some care with some fitments.

I am a model train builder and received this as a gift. Was fun to build and looks great in the display cabinet. Recommend a very small file or rasp when you build since it easier than the sandpaper. Some of the parts are keyholed like a jigsaw puzzle but are being assembled at a 90 degree angle or are just too tight when trying to install. Some light sanding/filing fixed this issue. In the instructions the locomotive wheel assemblies are build 3-4 steps before you actually install them. Since they are specific to the side of the engine would build them right before you put them on.

Don’t waste your money on this POS. I’ve done several other 3-D wood puzzles without problems, but this one is crap. The poor fitting small parts result in needing too much pressure to engage tabs & several parts broke in the process, or the cheap plywood laminate peeled off. Frustrating is a huge understatement. Will never buy a ROKR / Robotime product again. Stick with the much better quality UGEARS
