Challenging but enchanting
Based on retro-style mechanical timepiece, LK501 features a precise pendulum mechanism which requires more attention and patience. But the sense of fufillment is also doubled. After fully wound up, it can keep working for 3~4 hours maximum, prolonging the building fun as much as you want.
- a gravity-swing pendulum with precise anchor escapement
- appealing outlook of mechanical engineering
- double fun of model building & brain teasing
- perfect gift for mechanical lovers or family & friends

Where can I find the instruction move for the pendulum clock 3 D Like the locomotive

A good challenge. Interesting kit. Mine would not run after assembly, too. But I figured out that there was too much “play”
between the wood parts at the head of the pendulum assembly. Once I glued all these pieces together, the clock runs great.
I also wish that it ran for more than about seven hours per winding, but that is probably just the design of it.

I really loved putting this together, and I was excited to get it going. The first time it ran for an hour, and now it doesn’t even last 1 minute. I am very disappointed after spending the time to assemble. I stopped showing my friends because the pendulum stops after a few seconds. I have rewaxed all the gears with no luck. When you remove the pendulum, the spring makes all the gears turn as they should. It seems like the pendulum design is bad. Very sad

Like others, after I assembled the clock, it didn’t work. I got a response from the company informing me to wax, level, and insure all gears are not binding, which I had done previously on my own. At that point, with nothing to lose, I took it outside and sprayed the entire clock, gears, axels, pivot points, and meeting points, with voluminous amounts of WD-40 and also lubricated where the metal rods are inserted into the wooden frame with 3 in 1 oil. The wood has darkened a bit, but VOILA – I got it to work!!!

how awesome to own another piece of junk that doesn’t work as advertised. It passed several hours putting together though.

Sooooo irritated at the end of putting this together with my arthritic thumbs that it doesn’t work. Great. I have a bunch of gears to collect dust and not work as a clock.
Bulls**t product.
