Nice project. But my solar panel was defective. Wrote to contact email provided and never got a response. I bought 4 of these for my 4 grand kids. Disappointed that they would not respond

I am very impressed with the engineering of this unit. The details are impressive. I enjoyed building it. Friends that have now seen the finished unit working. The instructions were good, except #1 could be noted that it is a TOOL for putting on the gear AND that you would be using the marked piece to measure for Cutting the wood dowels to specific lengths.

Outstanding design and production engineering. The instructions are insufficient!! Step #1 shows assembling 7 parts to create an item labelled as -T1. This item is not referenced anywhere else in the remaining instructions. They also miss a detail on how to engage or disengage the solar panel from the drive motor / gears and wheels for controlling when the buggy moves!
